Sweet Wedding Hangover… I Live To Tell

I still cannot believe that my wedding is over… it doesn’t seem possible.  Absolutely crazy…

I’ll be sure to do a series about “It happened to me” disasters that you can avoid in your wedding (but, I did not.)

First, however – I thought that I would include some photos for you all to enjoy… so, enjoy!

My beautiful bridesmaids made me feel so special the entire weekend… they are all so dear to me.

Bad attempts at “Abbey Road” photos – however, I have not yet seen the professional photos yet!  These are purely snapshots!  You can see the famous Brown Palace Hotel  in the background – across the street from the church.

My groom.  (I am in the background with my brother… the groom is the one holding the bouquet… of course!)

Our fantastic cake!  The cake guy did exactly what I wanted, and it looked exactly how I pictured it… plus, it actually tasted great as well!

This one is so funny to me, simply because it is so great!  We look like an ad for David’s Bridal or something!  Right?

Oh man – I was freaking out here… the story is forthcoming on the “dress freakout!”

I was a MESS!  I soooo could NOT keep myself from crying!  At least my Dad looks good.  I cringe at the idea that I was crying while everyone was expecting me to “shine!”

Gross, Gross, Gross…

I came across this extremely unconventional idea for a wedding cake, and it’s so awful – I really think that there might be a vomiting problem at any wedding that decided to partake in the use of this cake plan…

A Meat Cake that is not really made of meat – it just looks like it…

Seriously.  Ugh.

There is just something about the idea of cake and meat that looks like that, that makes me want to barf.  Ugh – it’s the resemblance to some sort of sauce on top of the meat, that makes me just cringe. 

Ugh.  I don’t know… what do you think?
