The Guestbook… Let’s Get Over the Boring Stuff…

So, for one, I did not want to have a guest book where only two pages are filled in, and then after the wedding, we file it away somewhere, never to be seen again…

I also was not interested in having guests sign posters, and stuff like that… again, what would I do with it??

So, this is what I went with instead:

This is a coffee table book, full of vintage “found” photos that all involve “couples” in some way… and, the guests have the book walked around the reception by my wonderful cousins that volunteered – and, they will be told to write wherever, or whatever they want in the book – using.. ta-da: a sharpie!

The nice thing about this book in particular – besides just the perfect subject, etc…. there is generous white space around the pictures in the book – which, means more space for guests to feel comfortable writing.

Now, when we’re all done with the wedding behind us… we’ll still have that great coffee table book sitting out in full view!  Yay!
